"Lovely, quiet and dark for great sleeping. Very friendly and helpful multi-lingual staff. The suite was like a small apartment with a separate living room, (though not sound-separated), and an efficiency kitchen in the hallway. Great location for shopping, eating and strolling. Would absolutely stay here again. "

"Perfect location. Right outside the boarder of France and Switzerland. 30 second walk to the trams which takes you into Geneva Lake town in 10 minutes or smaller town a few stops away. Tram on the opposite side also takes you into France. Restaurants all around within 30 seconds or few mins walk. Property has a fridge and cooking equipment if you want a cheaper night in. " If you are visiting Geneva, but would like to stay in the outskirts, this is def the place to go! It is an hour away on the bus. There is the local tpg bus system that runs everyday. It is right around the corner. The area is very quiet and has all the basic amenities needed. It was perfect for a group of 5! "

"We had a pleasant two night stay at Auberge des Grands Bois. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It could have benefited from air conditioning but there was a Dyson Air Fan available and fortunately the weather was not too warm. The staff were friendly and breakfast was delivered to the room. "The property is surrounded by trees and one of its buildings has a view - though mostly covered by the trees - to the lake. It should be conducive to a pleasant and peaceful stay but wasn't. In my last week at this property, I was moved to a studio apartment that was literally falling apart - I have pictures. "For 250 euros a night this isn't good value for money, the apartments are run down with old and sometimes broken furniture. On the plus side they are spacious, but you are expected to make your own beds and strip them all after your stay as well as clean the apartment and this wasn't clear in the booking. For 250 euros a night, I would have expected a higher standard of accommodation and service. There is also no reception staff available on Sundays which makes check out challenging with bedding...

"The hotel was clean, had parking, a restaurant and a gym. The suite was big and had a sofa. We were able to walk from the airport to the hotel in about 15 minutes after our trip to the city of Geneva from taking the train at the airport.
