Looks like they recently updated the walls, ceilings & floors but much of the decor looks like it’s from the ‘50s. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work (not uncommon, unfortunately) but everything else was functional."

"If you are in Eugene to visit the University of Oregon Hayward Inn is a good choice. I wouldn't say the nearby dining options are great but they are good. Track Town Pizza right next door has very good pizza and next to Track Town Pizza is a Starbucks. I don't think of the area as being especially walkable because the hotel is located on Franklin Boulevard which is six Lanes wide and very busy"
