After a long day of driving, my expectations with last minute hotel selections are sober. I like that the facility is non-smoking. I was very happy with the quality of my room for the price point. I had a king room. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. It was clean, tidy, nicely decorated, quiet and electronics worked as expected. Professional, friendly staff. Parking is a bit tight, so arrive knowing that. Breakfast was not to my liking as I don't care for biscuits and gravy and the coffee could be stronger. Would like water to be available in the breakfast room. It is near a lot of restaurant chains, gas stations, and next to a Starbucks if you need a stronger cup of coffee. Nevertheless, I would gladly stay here again the next time I pass through Joplin.

Room was next to the breakfast kitchen, so we were awakened every morning just before 6AM during set-up time. Refrigerator was turned up but didn't get cold. Bed was way too soft for comfortable back support.

Stayed 2 nights. Room was small but that wasn’t bothersome or an issue. King size bed. Mattress was as hard as Fred Flintstone’s bed. Was so tired after day 1 that we didn’t notice how hard it was the second night. Saw a couple of little piss ants creeping around the room. Breakfast was ok for what it was (eggs, cereal, waffles, biscuits and gravy, coffee, OJ) Shower was hot and put out good pressure. Overall, the room served its purpose. Wasn’t looking for anything special but affordable. Besides the couple arguing outside my window in the parking lot at 6 am and a couple of ants, it was affordable and ok for our stay. I’d probably stay here again if I had to.

Had the smallest room I ever been in with a king size bed. right next to the air conditioner if it is being used you cannot escape the draft Because we wete on the first floor crowds gathered out side out room and were noisy till well after midnight. Worst night sleep in 3 weeks of travel. Room is really adequate for a twin bed.
