A lovely stay
Posted 15 May 2024 on HotelsOverall a lovely and value for money stay. Location of the resort is a little isolated, but makes for a quiet and peaceful getaway. Rooms are old but functional and somewhat clean (just ignore the corners and nitty gritty bits if you can!) We had the 4-bedroom suite and it was great for our family in terms of size. There was an ant situation though, as they came out very quickly to some dried goods we purchased. Would suggest for the hotel to try to remove them, and that patrons can try to place food items in the fridge or well covered.
Fittings are simple and can be clunky. Swimming pool is old and one of outdoor jacuzzi is closed for repairs. The indoor jacuzzi doesn't really have pressure/bubbles/power, but provides a decent warm water soak. Kids enjoyed the slide though.

Spacious, peaceful and clean property. Downside is one of the room aircon giving out hot air only. Need to do servicing on it.

Noisy aircon and ongoing construction.
Posted 10 Jun 2023 on HotelsI booked a 3 bedroom apartment. Aircon in 2 out 3 bedrooms are extremely noisy. Sounds like lorry parked with engine on next to your bed. Really disturbing to our sleep. I was half contemplating of getting an ear plug the next day to help me sleep. Decided to off the aircon and bear with the rising temp in the middle of the night to get some sleep. The aircon needs to be replaced if Pulai Spring wants to attract people to book the place. King bed is not pocketed spring so be prepared for “earthquake” shake when your partner toss and turn while sleeping at night. A whole construction is happening right in front of the pool. Terrible view to feel relax unless one is keen to walk to the other side of the resort building which has better landscape pool with reasonable view. Buffet breakfast has a reasonable spread. I will not book again for sure until the aircon is fixed and the construction is completed. Staff were friendly and helpful in general.
