The road noise was the most disappointing part of the whole trip. I put in my booking notes to be placed as far as away from the road, I believe I was put in one of the closest rooms to the road. I even called ahead of time to ensure and it didn't make any difference. I was pleased to be able to check-in a couple of hours in advance, but I'm sure it was only because I checked in on a holiday. I was also disappointed to pay a resort fee for a spa and wine tasting room that were both closed. When I had called ahead of time, no one made any mention of any of these amenities being closed, so that was not cool. I bought a bottle of wine that couldn't be opened because they didn't put a bottle opener in the room. The girl at the front almost didn't find one for me to use, and it didn't work correctly when I got back to my room. The lady at the front in the morning was nice enough but seemed a little frazzled with a number of things going on at the same time, including me trying to check out. She printed me a receipt for someone else's room, and I didn't realize it until I walked away. Overall, the trip was okay but there's a lot of room for improvement for this property. The grounds were pretty overall and nice to walk around but definitely in need of maintenance such as mulching..trimming, etc. I realize it's winter but people are still visiting.

Our stay overall was okay. I booked this property for our baby moon since my husband loves wine, and I love and needed peace and relaxation. But right after booking I call the property to book a prenatal massage which their website said they offered, only to be told the spa was temporarily closed, but there was no mention of it on their website and I could not cancel my reservation as it was non-refundable. Once we checked in to our room, the couch was full of dog hair, so we did not use it. The next day I removed the DND sign at 10 am to go for brunch and left a note with some tips for the housekeeper asking her to please clean the couch, but when we returned in the evening, our room was as we left it, no cleaning at all and the note and the tips was still on the table. The housekeeper never serviced our room. I may be back in the future, but not for special occasions as this one was a complete disappointment.

Nice facility, near many of the vineyards and sites we wanted to visit. Pool and hot tub were nice, but a rec room for the kids would be nice for evenings.
