Thank you for the review but I am also very surprised at the "Okay" comment. We were about to cancel your booking as the card was declined abd when you eventually replied to a missed phone call with the message that we were cancelling the booking we got a call. We decided to keep the booking and you said you were arriving at 12:00. that never happened and again when calling you said you would be here by 15:00 well again we waited and you arrived around 16:45. On arrival yo actually walked directly into out home when I was telling you that you were booked in the Garden Cottage outside. You questioned about having a bar and I was surprised as all our info is on the website and I did mention when you asked about friends visiting that they could but we expect you to consider other guests which you said was fine. we also made t clear that check out was at 10:00 as we needed to service the room for the incoming guests. We were surprised that you had tried calling us the next day at 09:40 to ask if you could check out at 12;00. This would not have been possible as we had already mentioned we needed to service the room for incoming guests. When Olivia spoke to you after 10:00 you were not yet dressed and ready to go and the end result was that she could not finish servicing the room before she had to leave and my wife had to do it on her return. We do trust that this is not the way you treat other B&B establishments and we find it strange that you then rate us with one word and 6 out of 10. Nothing we can do but sadly not a true reflection of the guests we normally get. Our ratings on all sites reflect our standard.
