Okura Garden Hotel Shanghai
5/5 Excellent
Perfect stay for Shanghai
"I stayed in the Okura Garden Hotel for 5 nights whilst exploring Shanghai and seeing friends - and have no regrets with my choice. The location is perfect for exploring the French concession area, with a vibrant coffee/cafe, brunch and bar culture - you won’t be able to experience them all! It’s a 2 min walk away from South Shanxi station making travel easy from the airport and to explore further afield. The hotel itself is classic and traditional in style, but still has the feeling of being recently renovated - the pool, sauna and jacuzzi were highlights in particular. If you’re not too keen on staying in a super crowded and touristy location (ie Nanjing Road) and want to experience a vibrant Shanghai neighbourhood this is for you! "
