I don’t like smell of the room.

The hard product at the property is very good. Spacious room, well appointed furniture, beautiful lobby, in a good location, and all at a reasonable price.
The service was poor. Staff appeared well intentioned but poorly trained. For example, while waiting to check-in, a staff member at the front desk told us another desk was open for check-in and asked us to leave the line to go to that desk. The other desk was not open for check-in and we had to rejoin the line. No staff members helped us with luggage when we arrived. When we left, a manager had to prompt a staff member to help us with our luggage before he did so. He was not otherwise busy. He was just staring blankly when the manager prompted him.
Overall, beautiful hotel with the potential to be great. We did not have a good service experience but we hope this is something the hotel improves in the future.

Posted 22 Jun 2024 on HotelsFantastic view of Shanghai buildings and train station. Very fancy room floor to ceiling windows, power curtains, Japanese toilet seat, with wood and marble features throughout. Checked into the room and had a fruit pate waiting for me.
