The House and its contents are just so beautifully done. Lots to look at and explore. So much history in the area and the owners are very knowledgeable. The mountain nestled town is charming in every way. Will go back in a heartbeat to unfurl it’s rich history.

On a whim, we decided to visit Jim Thorpe and chose to stay at the Dolon House. I can't recommend this place highly enough for anyone seeking a great bed and breakfast in the area. The B&B is a beautifully converted historic mansion, perfectly situated in the heart of the historic district, within walking distance of everything—including the train station, antique stores, and restaurants. The owners were exceptionally courteous, and the breakfast experience was truly unique. They thoughtfully explained each item served, all of which were freshly prepared. The rooms are impeccably maintained and filled with an impressive collection of paintings and antiques. Highly recommend!

Great location, awesome breakfast, very clean, the house is a museum with so many historical items from around the globe-host was great, provides so much detail about the area-where to go, eat, shop. A must place to stay.

This is an experience in art and breakfast cuisine. The big front porch is perfectly situated.
