This property needs to be cleaned between guests. We found rolled-up, gross dirty underwear beside our bed.

A great calm place right on the lake

A great place to stop for a night ot two if you are on your way to/from Oslo and you want a peacful place. The room is cozy and simple, good value for what we paid. There is also a glamping option in the hotel which looked super nice.
We also ate dinner in the hotel’s restaurant and really enjoyed it. Really sorry we could not stay more than one night cause this was a true relaxation. Recommended!

Lacks blackout curtains and outlets for charging. Bathroom outlet broken. We were given c-class room despite hotel nearly empty.
Weeds and shabby grounds. no room phones or traveler info. Dated and run down.

Slightly remote. Fifteen minutes drive to other restaurants. That is not too bad. Nice nature walks, but not much else to walk to besides glass stores. Reasonably the place was designed to capture the heat. In hot periods it needs to have a way to get the hot air out. So even when it is not particularly hot outside, it is inside. This needs a better solution than just propping doors open.
