A nice old-time-style villa overlooking a park. Spacious room with high ceilings, surprisingly the furniture had rather weird sleek(ish) style that fought the design of the common spaces. Extremely soft matrasses. Good breakfast. Stayed only one night and did not have time to try the spa services but the offering looked good and the prices OK.

Lovely for 1-Night Stay If You Arrive Before 10PM
Posted 23 Jan 2019 on HotelsI was here for 1-night while waiting for the Priessnitz Sanitarium to reopen (they are closed from Christmas until roughly January 21st every year). The reception is only open until 10PM for check-in and I believe not open again until 7/8AM, so just keep that in mind. However, the receptionist was very friendly and spoke enough English to assist me with any question I had. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the Jesenik train station (which I only recommend if you do not have luggage---I did, so it was fun schlepping that along). I recommend booking a taxi in advance as there were none waiting at the train station. There is a sidewalk for most of the walk until you hit the street the hotel is on...it's uphill/mountain and no sidewalks. For sore muscles, the hotel has a small swimming pool, sauna, and jacuzzi. The restaurant was alright, but I recommend trying some of the local restaurants if you have time. The room was located on the second floor and was huge (had the family suite) but located in a separate building from the main hotel and there was no elevator (not a problem for someone who already lugged three suitcases 20-minutes, but just FYI). To reach the the main part of the village, you have to go back down that sidewalk-less street (but hey, it's downhill!) and I recommend having them call you a cab if you need to go farther than 20-minutes (the Priessnitz Sanitarium is a 45-minute walk from that hotel, up a mountain, with no sidewalks...yes, I called a cab.)

Not suitable for business trips
Posted 9 Aug 2024 on HotelsFriendly staff , nice location, although I would expect a little more comfort in a business suite! Beds are too soft, towels are too old , no blinding curtains as stated, supply in the room does not get refilled( water bottle, shampoo and shower gel. There was no airconditioning as stated but a ventilator would be nice in the summer. Also the chair in combination with the desk is not suitable for a comfortable for working on your laptopThe bed and supplies in the room does not meet the standard of a business suite. Breakfast was good but not super. I would not book again for a business trip although for a wellness stay this is a good place. A decent trip back in time in this nice 100+ years old villa with a relaxing vibe
