A little isolated but a good hotel

The hotel is quite a walk away from the Lions Gate into the Old City but it's an easy and nice walk and there really didn't seem to be much else in the area.
Be aware when booking this hotel that if you come into the main bus or train station in Jerusalem and try to get to this hotel, not every taxi driver can take you there. Not too incredibly difficult in the end, but it was a problem that I didn't plan for.
Overall recommended.

Room could have been a lot cleaner. It was smelly and had a dusty odour. The bathroom drain was full of hair and the fake flowers were full of dust and we had to rest them outside on the verandah that had no table or chairs so impossible to enjoy unless standing.

Abu Mohammed and Mohammed really looked after us, gave us advice on getting around Jerusalem, accommodated us with a late check in and late check out. Location is good for getting to Al Aqsa mosque and Muslim quarter. The view at breakfast is amazing with views of the dome of the rock and Al Aqsa. Breakfast is fresh and healthy.

I liked the staff and their helpfulness. The hotel needs refurbishment. I would work on one room at a time.
