The whole place is unique, each room is different and very personal, the owner put much effort into it. Everything was clean and tidy, instructions for access very clearly explained. We felt very comfortable right away. We didn’t get to meet the people taking care of the place, we assume, due to wanting to get the impression of a real ghost place, which we thought was funny in one way but s bit unfortunate, not to be able to connect socially.

Thank you so much for your review. We are sorry we did not have a chance to meet you. We are a small family run hotel and between cleaning, cooking, office work and running errands we are staying pretty busy. The best way to catch up with us is during breakfast time when we are available to chat.

The end was quaint very well kept warm and welcoming. We enjoyed our experience there and hopefully we'll return one day.

After a crazy long exhausting day of driving, my brain was done functioning when I arrived. I called at the door and the person who answered literally directed me word for word getting to my room and dealing with the keys. I am grateful and happy to get a good nights sleep

Hotel was fine and eclectic but not worth the 220$ paid for one night.
Arrived at 2pm on a hot day with our motorcycle. Called the posted number to inquire about an early check in as we were overheated. We were told to come back in an hour as the room wasn’t ready. We couldn’t even access the lobby to wait and cool off. Guests on the upper balcony, who were in the room next to ours, told us that no staff appeared to be on-site

Thank you for your review. We are a small historic hotel run solely by my husband and myself on the weekends. We recall talking to you while we were cleaning rooms. We try not to disturb our stay-over guests while we are turning over other rooms, so they wont necessarily know if we are on the premises. Although we do have an option for early check-ins with advance notice, it is not a guarantee that we will have the rooms ready on a last minute call. We do however guarantee a check-in by 3pm.

Super cute and comfortable. All the spooky decor was the perfect atmosphere for the location.
