Bait and switch after check-in to a mandatory timeshare seminar enrollment that cost me $40 to not attend. Horrible. Practice should not be allowed. All we wanted was a quiet clean place to stay for the weekend.

Could be a great place if they worked on it
Posted 19 Aug 2024 on HotelsSince we booked through Hotels.com we weren't allowed to use anything on the property without paying, even pools. We were unaware of this when we booked so we had 5 very bummed kids. It would have been over $500 for all 7 of us to have access- not worth it. We ended up driving to Jay Peak for the day and using their nicer water park for much less. Our room was okay. Spacious and clean but linens were dirty & stained, not enough pillows (had to call down twice before we got any) king bed was awful, tub didn't work and shower door was crumbling leaving glass shards on bathroom floor.

Bait and switch
Posted 29 Jun 2024 on HotelsWe made a reservation for a King bed in one room and a Queen bed with twin beds in the second room.
We arrived to a VERY small condo that had a Queen bed squished into one room and bunk beds on the wall of the second room. NOT HAPPY.
The Resort explained to us, that this was not rented through the resort website. Thankfully, they were EXTEMELY gracious and able to find us something else.
Smuggs saved our stay!!! We were all able to enjoy our Son's, surprise 30th Birthday Party.
If you have a chance, please do yourself a favor and check out the Boyden Winery. It was Amazing!!

Stayed two nights here during the summer as part of a larger trip. After several nights in hotels, it was nice to stretch out in a condo and catch up on laundry. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to eat in for a few meals. The staff was nice and there were activities for everyone. There were a few weird rules about which pools we could and couldn’t use without paying extra for some sort of card, but that didn’t affect us much. I could tell this place would be a ton of fun in winter.
