Check-ins experiences .. need to be monitored

the overall service is good, except for the check-in, it was terrible. I made a special request for high floor room several weeks before my arrival through Hotels.com. Upon arrival however, the employee allocated a room in the lowest floor he could find (2nd), and had no interest what so ever to find a room which matches my request although, from my observation, the hotel is more than half empty and such rooms are available .. Never again in this hotel if I can find an alternative.

It’s a very old hotel that needs upgrading. No laundry service. The staff are nice and doing their job but the hotel condition is not great

Disappointed

Picked this hotel 1 because when we’re on holiday I’m Feujera we stay in Le Meridien hotel and 2 for the outside pool - when I checked in was told the pool is open from 9 am, so when I went for a swim u can imagine the disappointment when the door to outside was closed with a sign saying under construction… It wasn’t u day construction it was left wit. 3 ft of dirty brown water in it….. when I asked at reception how long it would be like this for I was met with blank looks as if to say y would u wanna be outside ?? MGMT apologised for the inconvenience but when I approached hotels.com about this the mgmt never replied to any emails Room was clean but tired , food was ok but pasty’s were stale and although this isn’t in the affluent area of Jeddah it was still £1500 for 6 nights so I’d expect better

Very bad hotel

My AC doesn't work so i changed the room and the second room they give it to me has no AC too and now I'm in lobby and they can't find me a room witb AC workiny and it 1 am now here. The worst experience i ever have and i don't know what to do.

Upon arriving at the hotel, I was given a room without the city view, although I booked city view. When asking the reception they informed me that the hotel was fully booked and there were no other rooms available. After refusing the room and requesting my fee back, they provided me a city view room. The rooms are furnished from the ‘90s, the bath tub had anti slip material completely yellow coloured after all the years, giving a disgusting feeling when showering. The internet was so slow that I could barely have my online meetings. The ordered food does not correspond to the high pricing rate. The tenderloin steak I ordered was not tender and contained fat.
