However, note that it is far from Bayonne and the area where it is located is basically in the middle of a field, with nothing around (no shops nor restaurants). "Our stay here was an experience. Unlike any other "hotel". Located spectacularly in the foothills of the pyrenees, accommodation consisted of little chalets scattered around a large area. Guests travel between the various facilities in golf carts. The restaurant was spectacular (view & food) but expensive. Breakfast was very good, also beautifully located"

"The property fell short of its 4 star rating and our expectations. The lighting in the kitchen/main room did not work. The hot water in the shower was exhausted rather quickly. Most unpleasant was the presence of mosquitos and the lack of air-conditioning as the temperature reached 38C on the day when we arrived. "

"This place need so much attention on cleanliness, my son and I have to pull out our sleeping bags, so we can sleep better. The room was not dusted in days(weeks)? They had a cat and went right inside the room, thank God we are not allergic to them. They own the place and sleep in the place, with their bedroom right on top of ours, I couldn’t sleep at all, because I can hear them moving around. "

"Really nice owners. Breakfast is expensive for what you get, unless you eat a lot of croissants and like sugary cereals. Coffee and croissants both very good though. No other criticism except that the price seemed on the high end for such a small town. Nevertheless, would indeed stay there again and eat at one of the many places nearby. Free parking."

"This was a perfect little spot. A house with 5 rooms for guests, an enormous living room upstairs to lounge in and a perfect dining area on the ground floor. The hosts are kind and helpful. They ask that you give them plenty of notice for dinner which they make using ingredients from their farm. The garden is beautiful and relaxing. A great place for a short or long stay. The village is quiet and you will be quite alone at the footsteps to the Pyrenees ."
