Our room at the lodge was clean, comfortable and roomy. It was nice having a balcony overlooking the lake! We enjoyed the in door pool and hot tub! Will definitely be staying again!

They charged almost $14 for the type of breakfast that's usually free at all other places we have stayed.
The supper menu was VERY limited, & it was terrible. But there's no places close to eat. We learned our lesson, & made sure we were closer to town so we could have decent meals. Which was inconvenient because we would have liked to relax & enjoy the wonderful scenery at the lodge.
The room was a nice size, clean & comfortable.
A place we won't return though, due to the restaurant.

Unfortunately our dining services have been on reduced hours due to being short staffed in the kitchen which affects what they offer such as the limited menu you referenced. With the hire of two new employees in the last couple weeks we hope to increase our hours and what we are able to offer. We are glad you otherwise enjoyed your visit and hope will reconsider visiting us again in the future.

Lake Cumberland is so beautiful and so calming. Lure Lodge is one of my favorite lodging destinations.
The property is starting to show age in a couple areas, but also retains the charm.
