"Poor service: I booked this room for my 76 yr-old father who was traveling from BC, Canada. (Nov 14, 2022) When he arrived on the property, he asked the manager/owner for use of the bathroom (after his 6-hr car ride) before checking-in. This manager yelled at him to go to some bathroom outside. He was painfully rude and demeaning. "Beautiful historic and unique property for the adventurous traveler. The haveli is family run and the warmth and care of the staff is exceptional. Rooftop dining and traditional puppet show are one of a kind experience, and the food is among the best we had in India. "I didn't book a five-star hotel so I didn't expect one. However, my biggest issue with the property is the crappy Wi-Fi. They didn't clean the room during my stay. "The staff made me pay for all days of stay upfront. When I wanted to change my mind and get a refund the management didn't co-operate. This is no way a fair deal, there was unnecessary loss of money. The staff and the service was OK.
