Wouldn't go back again
Posted 16 Jun 2024 on HotelsThe room was facing the main road and it was noisy with the bikes on the street all night. I also couldn't understand why the pillows seem to be scented. I have a sensitive nose and that irritated my nose all the time. Plus the Aircon switched off on its own 3 times in the night. I thought it was off for a short while as the room reached the right temperature, but it didn't turn back on and I was starting to sweat, so I have to stand up and turn it back on. The doors of the rooms were also quite heavy so you hear other people closing their doors all the time.

A beautiful colonial style hotel in fun central
Posted 2 Apr 2024 on HotelsThe Gunawarman was booked on the recommendation of a local colleague. He understood that as westerners we would want to eat and drink either in the hotel or nearby and it did not disappoint. The hotel itself is very nice with beautiful spaces, rooms, bar and dining area. The staff were friendly and helpful.
I would definitely stay again.

This is my second stay there. First time everything was ok. But this time room was not made up after first night. Only 1 towel was available at begining and after special request I got face towel. Food in hotel restaurant caused whole night diharea.
