Overall, I enjoyed my stay. However, the room was not cleaned for four days despite my request and leaving the key at the front desk. I was informed that this was due to staff shortages. While maintaining the exterior is important, regular room cleaning should also be prioritized.

Our family of 4 (including boys ages 13 and 11) stayed three nights in Arya Niwas and we really enjoyed it. Highlights included breakfast and dinner at the on-site vegetarian restaurant (we’re not vegetarians either), daily entertainment (lots of great music), complimentary filtered drinking water. The room was quiet, spacious, comfortable, and clean with great wi-fi, AC, and hot water, etc. We would totally recommend it and would stay there again ourselves. A few additional notes:
1. We used the onsite travel desk to book a taxi from Jaipur to Ranthambore which was definitely on the pricier side but we weren’t able to find a better option in the limited time we had. Not a problem, just something to be aware of.
2. While the hotel itself is an oasis of green, the surrounding neighborhood is pretty “gritty” urban (but still safe) and not especially walkable. You’ll probably want to plan to take a taxi or tuk tuk to the sights - but not a big deal.
3. This is not unique to this hotel at all, but we found the whole tipping situation to be confusing - ie when should we tip and how much. The hotel website says tipping is discouraged, but there’s a tip box in the reception and some staff seemed to expect tipping for services like carrying bags and room cleaning. Again, this is not a huge problem and is not unique to this hotel, just something to note.
Overall we loved our stay here and would totally book this place again without hesitation if in Jaipur!

Still if any guest wants to leave a cash reward they can use the boxes on reception and café so that the tip money is equally distributed. The point of some persons expecting tips is well noted and we have talked to all involved – this is not encouraged. This property has a green space off a main road so it’s quiet and peaceful. They have an awesome breakfast buffet that you can eat in the quiet green space! Staff are very responsive when requesting anything at reception. Nice hotel!
