I paid too much because of the recent hurricane. Going by price was a mistake in my judgment of what I would get.

Very poor English, very hard to understand Floor were filthy

The room was unclean (hair in the shower, trash on the floor). Too few towels and they were wet. Bedding had an odor and the sheets were too small for the bed. The refrigerator and microwave were ancient and looked dirty. Also, there were 3 clerks when we arrived. They spoke among themselves but did not interact with me until they wanted my signature.

Checked in online, but were told to “Come back in 30 minutes “. perhaps because the police were there. Lobby full of guests. 3 employees behind desk but only one working. Fingernail clippings on furniture. When getting dressed to leave this morning we noticed that our socks and lower legs were COVERED in fleas. Showed the desk clerk the photos/video and was told “Oh… sorry “. Will never stay at a pet-friendly hotel again, especially this one.

Roaches. Drawers smelled so strobgly of mold and mildew things could not be stored in them. The whole handle/knob of the shoeer was falling off the wall. The mattresses sit on frames that are about 7" too small causing part of the matress to just hang with no support. A/C unit is VERY loud and did not handle cooling the single room well. The pool is closed (it looks abandoned). Ran out of towels. Bedding was dirty on arrival. Room smelled horrible. The barrier between my room and the ajoining room was so thin I could hear their conversations.

Older hotel not kept up very well. Carpet had pet staines and smelled.
