Property was in good condition. Rooms were good. Clean. Neighbors were a little weird. Sometimes felt unsafe. But staff were extremely nice. I would stay there again.

This was my first stay at Motel 6 but it will now be my go to place when I visit my family in Jacksonville! I've stayed at another place that I have been a return customer with because they're extremely clean and well priced. This trip was a last minute, short one, and I couldn't get in there. I read the reviews for Motel 6 and decided to give it a try. It was very clean, has a great pool and the staff was friendly. When I realized I can get a much better rate for my upcoming week long trip than my usual place (that doesn't include a pool) I canceled my other reservation and made it for Motel 6!! I'll be happy to be a return customer from now on!

The Garmin directions take you to a spot at the back of the motel. Took us 5 minutes to find the front office. Otherwise our stay was fine. Not a 5 star hotel, but for the price it was adequate for our needs. At least it was cleaner than the last Motel 6 we stayed in.

I stayed at the hotel for 2 days & on the second day the hotel owner/manger Neil asked me if I had anyone in my room. At the time it was a weird question to me being I've never had any issues at this hotel before. He told me that if I had anyone in my room that I wasnt being honest about that he would have me immediately removed from the property. I was confused about his questions & demeanor towards me but I went on with my stay thinking he possibly had me confused with someone else. I extended stay another day online bc my permenant housing wasn't quite ready and walked down to the office to let them know. When I walked into the office I was informed by Neil that he reviewed the cameras and seen that I had a visitor in my room the prior night & that he was refusing to extend my stay. I did have a visitor come to my room but it was someone that was also staying in the hotel in a room underneath me that I've known for quite a few years and why I wasn't allowed to have this person come to my room for 5-7 mins is still unknown to me. Please BEWARE of this hotel!! The Owner did to me&& may to you kick you out of your room for Visitors of any kind & will not provide you with any explanation as to why. My reservation was Non-refundable but thankfully Expedia understood the owner of this hotels reason for not extending my stay was not valid enough to not refund my money. Again BEWARE of BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES at the establishment.
