Great Japanese Onsen Hotel

BreakFast was wonderful with great river side view.
Only cons is that the building itself is a bit old.
Overall service was wonderful.

I was on my way back to Tokyo from Osaka and decided to stay a night to just relax before going back to the bustle of the city. I had an incredible stay at this Ryokan. It is located right beside a river so your view of the river and nature is stunning. The rooms are absolutely huge. Each room has a very large door way and the sleeping area is very large as well (it can accommodate six people comfortably if need be). The bath room is well equipped with modern amenities and a large tub if you wish to take a relaxing hot bath in your room. You are given traditional attire to wear throughout your stay (yukuta and tabi). The food was too pretty to eat and absolutely delicious. Tradtional Japanese food is included for breakfast and dinner. Lastly the hot springs are lovely. They have lots of options for private baths but the common bath area is just as lovely and very large. I highly recommend that anyone spend a relaxing night here, two nights to really make it worth your while.

Wonderful ryokan to dine by the river.
Posted 3 Apr 2017Did not get to enjoy their private onsen facilities during my stay but the loss was partly made up by the nicely prepared meals during dinner and breakfast.
Traditional Japanese Dinner by the river on a cool winter evening was a superbly wonderful experience.
Those who do not drive may find it a challenge getting there though.

The best part was the private onsen tubs. There were 4 different ones and we could use all of them without waiting at all. Make sure to lock the door firmly though. One time somebody opened the door when we thought it was locked. Unless the latch goes down all the way, it could be open.

Nice Ryokan with private onsen opportunity
Posted 2 Feb 2016This is place is the perfect getaway to relax. Although you need to take a bus, this is place is easy to find. If in doubt English speaking staff is available at the tourist information in Shuzenji station. This ryokan offers 4 type of onsen bath of which three can be enjoyed privately at no extra costs. Reservation of the private onsen is done onsite at a first come first serve basis. Also a nice public bath is available. We opted for the dinner by the river in a semi open-air setting, which we enjoyed a lot. Although it was a cold winter evening, the kotatsu and provided jacket kept us pleasantly warm and made it special experience. Definitely recommend this place.

房好大，乾淨，靜，旁邊有條小溪，聽到流水聲
日本服務⼀向都好，冇需多講
係餐廳食飯，唔係房，餐廳位於小溪旁邊，view好好
但係standard set就正常，唔算好好味

河景比海景美，免費使用的太切風呂每個都很有特色，尤其月之美人特別美麗早晚各使用一次
