Pleasant stay.
The stay was average. Comfortable accommodations. Be sure to ask for a room with a balcony and view. The village only had one restaurant within walking. The hotel restaurant and bar was closed which we knew before arriving.
We were a group of 14 in old cars and were only booked in for one night. The hotel is in the centre of the village and there is always something going on, whether it is the youngsters playing on the pelota court or farmers going about their business or locals shopping or gossiping. Set in the foothills of the Pyrenees the surrounding country side is great for walks and gives the hotel a wonderful outlook particularly from the restaurant terrace in the setting sun. We wished we had booked at least one more night.

Great budget alternative
We stopped over for one night and were really pleased. The price was ok, the pool was clean overlooking the fantastic mountains, nice terrasse where the locals played the basque sport Pelota, a kind of squash, against a great wall. Room for improvement - no late service for dinner, and the restaurant looked really nice, overlooking the mountains with a great big terrasse. You have to know some french to be able to converse with the staff, only one person knew a little english.
