Hotel lobby, facilities and staff are all fantastic, but the rooms themselves are old and shabby with no comfortable touches or decor. It is also noisy at night in the corridors, even after moving rooms because any street facing rooms can hear the traffic and sirens through the windows.

I loved the manager named Tekin and front desk staff named Aldi’s. The manager treated me and my wife with respect and he became like a close friend to us, I can say he is the reason for me to write this review beside Aldi’s that she was more than excellent. I recommend any one want to visit Istanbul to go and stay there.

The staff are not friendly and have poor communication skills. They do not smile or greet you. We asked for directions to a popular attraction site and the member of staff said they have no idea. It is almost like they do not live in the country. The breakfast buffet did not have enough variety. There were flies on the food and it did not taste nice. You need to pay 3 euros for an omlette which is a joke. The room was spacious however the bathroom was small. This hotel is not worth 5 stars! The only positive is that the metro is 5 mins away and there are taxis nearby.

It was not busy as the Sultan Ahmet area, but there was not much to do around until you take the train. Also, there needs to be AC in the property not just in the rooms. The staff and management wete helpful and friendly.

The location of the hotel is ideal with a bus and tram stop within a 2 min walk,so getting to all the main tourist spots is cost effective. Hotel is somewhat daed but is clean and comfortable and is in good condition.Definitely recommend

Stuff were not helpful and kept looking busy and after 3-5 mins of waiting for them I had to ask if they will help me and then they acknowledged and helped in checking me in. Also, they wouldn’t order taxi for me and said they are offering airport transport for 70 Euros. I had to walk out to street and wave a taxi which took me to Istanbul Airport for ~$25.
