The rooms are good not great .The service and workers were great .But the property is very beautiful.

The food has gotten better, awesome staff Guillermo, Roberto and others helpful & very friendly.
The beach has a beautiful view, private but it's sad that it's getting smaller.
Construction was going on & it's to be expected since the hurricanes
Our room had an exceptional view but it had no dresser.
We've been coming here for the last 8 years over the holidays but this year was the most kids we've seen there by far.
Dinner at the Italian restaurant, makes for a great date night the food is very good, dress code needs to be enforced (guests will get the assignment). The new Mexican restaurant food was not very good (shouldn't have dinner after dinner).
Mia staff selling Mia CLub memberships, some were pushy, condesending, insisttant on only 90 minutes of our time and some did understand that we were Not interested.
We've been coming here for the last 8 years over the holidays, we're not certain if we'll be back next year if we'll be at one of the new hotels on the island.

We stayed at this property in 2018 during this time the property was very well maintained service was excellent throughout, the staff and Restaurants were also excellent ,beaches were excellent overall a 4 1/2 star at the time.
Unfortunately, during our current stay none of the above Services were 4 1/2 star more like 3 star if that , now don’t misunderstand overall the hotel location the views and the beach is beautiful, but the structure is very deteriorated for lack of maintenance and care. Seems like the staff is not being managed properly. Food is also in decline versus our first stay in regards of the room it is absolutely borderline disgusting bathrooms have mold, toilets do not flush ,showers glass is dirty and full of soap scum, electrical outlets with USB not working, old furniture and beds
My understanding they did go through a very rough hurricane season at some point but it’s been a few years back ,bridge between the Island mainland and the hotel is falling apart also the structure that was hit by the hurricane Pier is still going through rebuilding
Overall, I just think the hotel needs more love and attention from management seems like they are not putting a lot of resources into this property and they should because it’s a very lovely setting.

The Mexican dinner is the best of this hotel, but you need reservation. It's very pricy on the island, but facilities in the room really need to be cleaned and upgraded. Very nice and friendly staff. They have the best beach on this island and keep it private for you to enjoy. Walking from ferry to the hotel is ok, it only takes 15 minutes, no need for a taxi which has a very long lineup at the ferry.

The staff and service was excellent, not one complaint about that. The resort is outdated, the food choice was very limited, but at least the taste was good. The biggest issue we had was the resort was under construction, which was not disclosed to us ahead of time or at check in, therefore there was a lot of noise and workers everywhere. We asked at the front desk about this and they apologized but said this is their "slow season" and they are doing the work now, but we did not pay a cheap price, quiet the opposite actually so that is very unfair to us.
