We just returned from Almare. We chose the property because we were looking for a small resort feel rather than a large hotel feel. The resort is small, which hit the mark. The beach is small, but you can walk out into the water and see to the bottom. There are limited food choices. Alcohol choices are the best we have encountered for an all-inclusive. They have top shelf liquor to choose from.
The service is impeccable! The resort is still being put together and polished. It will be an excellent resort when everything is truly ready.

Pro’s: Shoutout to David and Captain eddy and the whole staff for making my stay the best. The staff accommodated my wife’s Birthday with an in-room balloon greeting, a private sectioned off dinner on the room and ofcourse David my favorite bartender with the best drink mixes.
I loved the tequila tasting night and doing activities with experience coordinators.
Cons:
1) food: the food with midtier. I loved the rooftop food the best due to it’s comfort food menu. I advise increase the shrimp options on menu,
2) jacquee should definitely be advertised as part of the spa and something you would have to pay for. I think all hotels need an indoor option for rainy days
3) online the rooms all look the same with different views. When in reality the smaller rooms has jacquees while my bigger room had a smaller tub. It would be great if you can update the room pictures to accurately reflect.
Overall 9.5/10. Will come back soon

Had such a relaxing time celebrating my husbands birthday. From arrival to leaving the staff from guest services, all management, all bar and restaurant staff members made sure we were always taken care of. They were so attentive and by the time we left they felt like family. The attention to detail was impressive. The food was perfect and restaurants had plenty of options to choose from. The memories we made at Almare will last a lifetime.

staff was extremely friendly, only complaint is for when you book through expedia the property can not contact you about travel details make sure you reach out separately other wise you’ll be out of the loop on some things.
