I absolutely loved my stay here. Beautiful views and hiking. But be warned: you should be in great shape and not have more than one backpack for the challenging hike from the launch to the property!

Bathroom floor extremely slippery when wet. I fell
Posted 2 Oct 2022 on HotelsIt’s a 1.5 hour hike upwards in high altitude conditions. It’s almost on the other side of Isla del Sol. Beautiful room. Beautiful view. Hosts were excellent.
However, you MUST pay in Bolivianos CASH. No credit cards accepted.
The Bathroom had steps going down. Bathroom floor was extremely slippery when wet. I fell. Bruising my tailbone & left hand to break my fall almost hitting my head on sink counter. To dangerous to stay here.

This property is about as far as you can get from the port. A porter service is not included in the fee for the property. By the time we arrived after 40 minutes climbing up the hill with our bag, we were feeling very stressed and worn out, so it really impacted on our stay. (we brought only one carry on size suitcase).
Additionally, it does not say online *anywhere* that this accommodation accepts cash only. There is no ATM on Isla del Sol so by the time we realised this it was too late to get cash out to pay. The stress of not knowing how I was going to pay for this accommodation really ruined my stay - I could not get a good night sleep on our final evening. This was supposed to be our relaxing few days of the trip, and it turned out to be really quite a stressful experience. The place is nice but we could not really enjoy it!

Bad arrival, good stay
Posted 19 Aug 2022 on HotelsThe accomodation is in spacious bungalows and everything is fine except for the wifi which is only available in the lobby. Good breakfast that could be improved.
What is not clearly stated is that arriving there means a climb of about 200 meters hight on a steep and 'off road' path: they helped with a mule carrying the heaviest stuff but still we were left with many: we had asked for the possibility to leave luggage in Copacabana but got no answer (we learned then it would have been possible)
