The hotel was amazing, clean, quiet and in a great location! The owner and staff were extremely polite and helpful. I recommend Lulalyia as the place to stay in Kabira- Ishigaki!

Great place to stay when visiting Ishigaki.
Posted 15 Sep 2018I just spent 4 nights at Lulaliya. Ai and An were wonderful hosts who were very friendly and helpful. They offered so much great advice on where to eat and what to do around the island and were very helpful with day to day things.
The hotel is located a couple of minutes walk from the beautiful Kabira Bay which is around a 30 minute drive from the city or the airport. I'm glad I chose to stay in the Kabira area. Although quieter and not too many shops it is the most beautiful part of the island in my opinion. You should definitely hire a car if staying on Ishigaki.
There are many restaurants around the local area which Ai and An will point out to you. I ate Ishigaki beef at the okonomiyaki place around the corner and it was delicious.
Check in and out was easy and fast. The room itself although basic has everything you need including WiFi. Most importantly the room was super clean. The beds were a bit too hard for my liking but I still managed to get some good sleep. There is a communal fridge at the end of the corridor to store your drinks and snacks. My room also had a balcony from which you can see the bay, and there is also a rooftop terrace for guests to hang out and enjoy the views of the bay or the stars on a clear night. They also have laundry facilities which came at the perfect time for me.
Ishigaki is a beautiful part of the world. Lulaliya is an excellent place to stay when visiting.
