"Fantastic stay at this property. Stay in the renovated Bay Wing building if you can swing it. Staff were fantastic, very welcoming and attentive. The breakfast at Saltida was worth it, with dishes ranging from steamed pork buns, wood fired beef to pastries and fresh fruit. Some fun cafes and restaurants within walking distance, too. Saw a loggerhead sea turtle and puffer fish while snorkeling in the roped off area of the beach. Would return in a heartbeat."

"Great staff and location! The property is smaller than advertised, but the amenities are all clean and excellent. There were plenty of options for breakfast, though most were Japanese and not to my liking. I loved the coffee and juice options, but had to find food elsewhere once we left the hotel. The infinity pool is excellent with a great view looking over the water and Taketomi Island! The only complaint I have is that our hotel room was infested with small ants that would pop up...

"Perfect getaway spot overlooking the sea with a deserted sandy beach and tropical warm water. Large room with lots of windows. Small balcony (that needed a chair). Constant free supply of bottled water. Lovely and well priced cafe/restaurant downstairs with good menu choice and tasty food. Japanese or western breakfast was very good although it was served on an individual tray so was exactly the same every day (we stopped having breakfast and went out for lunch instead). "The staff was welcoming and very helpful and they all made efforts to speak English. It was my birthday while I was staying there and the General Manager, Mr Muramatsu, sent treats and a card to our room and the restaurant staff presented me with a special dessert! Special thanks to Mr Kuramoto, front desk!"

"Beautiful property with a great pool and convenient access to the beach as well. Only suggestion would be to offer a restaurant where we can order a meal as all four dining options were either buffet or set course menus. All of which way overpriced so we ended up going into the city after Day 2 instead. Otherwise a great experience and would recommend this property to anyone travelling to Ishigaki!"
