This was my second time at this hotel and both times I would rate everything as excellent. I will stay there again in the future.

older hotel, renovated.. nice facilities such as pool, spa/sauna.. away from the coast and some 15-20min walk from the town harbour

Nice base to operate out of
Posted 29 Jun 2024 on HotelsWonderful time at The Art. Buffets were reasonably priced with good variety. They had an all you can drink alcohol for 1,500yen or under $10 for 60 minutes. Pool was nice and the tour desk booked a great tour of Iriomote for us.

Staff were great! Our room was spacious and clean. We loved their pajamas so much my son bought a set.
We highly recommend vacation to IshigakiJima and the Art hotel

Overall good Stay.
Posted 4 Jan 2024 on HotelsIt was good stay overall, only thing is that they give 1000yen Gift ticket per for not using House clean service. But they only give only one day ticket at a time, so we stayed 10 nights and everyday we had to go to the front for
the 1000 gift ticket which is not convenient NOR good service. They should give all 9 tickets at time of check in. That was the service I received at other hotel nearby.

Good budget option
Posted 17 Apr 2023 on HotelsIt’s a decent place to stay for a couple of nights. They try really hard to make it nice but it is an older property in need of renovation. Breakfast was good especially if you like Japanese cuisine. If you are planning to be out all day and need a place to stay on a budget, this place is perfect.

The room was large. The staff was awesome. The hotel exceeded my expectations. I will definitely stay there in the future.
