Wonderful Ise Ryokan.

Traditional Japanese Bliss
Posted 11 May 2016 on HotelsA throwback to the traditional ryokan experience with 30 dish dinner served in room. Very welcoming and only complaint is our old bodies getting up off the floor from sitting or sleeping which is of course part of the experience. Our problem, not theirs. Ofuro (bath) is gender segregated of course but also has two smaller "family baths" which are quite delightful for those a bit more shy. The local attraction, Meito Iwa is not viewable from Ryokan but less than 100 yards away. Oishiya is a perfect place to splurge a bit and experience Japanese hospitality at its finest. A must stay!

Great Seaside Riokan in Ise

Pros: Amazing food in a serene traditional atmosphere. Quiet, clean rooms.
This is a great place for a classic riokan (traditional Japanese resort) experience with half board (breakfast + dinner). You will have to remove your shoes as you enter the lobby,
The room is very traditional (tatami mats) but the facilities (bathroom, shower, spa) are modern.
The staff tries tirelessly to help make your stay comfortable.
Non-Japanese speakers should be patient as staff is not fluent in English but makes every effort to make the stay enjoyable.
This is a full kaiseki experience. Meals are elaborate and delicious. All dishes based on local Mie prefecture ingredients, locally sourced.

何よりも、宿の皆さんのホスピタリティが素晴らしかった。料理も文句なしだし、海側の部屋は眺望も最高。
館内はスリッパではなく足袋で歩けるよう畳や板敷きになっていて、リラックスした時間を過ごせました。

スタッフの対応親切 食事は個室でゆったり 温かいものをいただくペースで出していただき久しぶりにゆっくり美味しくいただきました 二見ヶ浦まですぐ キレイな日の出を拝めました

部屋が広く清潔でした！
館内は畳が敷かれており、玄関で靴を脱ぎ部屋やお風呂など各施設に行く形でした。
夜の料理はほぼ料理人さんの手作りの様でとても美味しく大満足でした！
特に最後の板前さんが作るプリン格別でしたね。
二見興玉神社へは徒歩数分早朝の日の出には沢山の人が訪れていました。
静かでのんびり出来る旅館、早めにチェックインして海岸沿いの散策もオススメですよ。
