This Sonesta Simply Suites simply sucks. There's no other way to put it. I can't comment on the room or the property itself, as the hotel cancelled our paid reservation and sold the room out from under us without contact or any notice, leaving us to find another hotel at 10pm in the evening. Front desk staff and manager were entirely unapologetic and had no explanation for what occurred, even after being contacted by Expedia directly. Just thoughtless and terrible customer service. It's hard to concisely explain how furious I am with this whole experience. Don't ever book this place, there are a ton of other actually reputable options in the area. These people are terrible. You've been warned. You're welcome.

We picked this location because of price and closeness to relatives we were visiting. Very happy with our stay. The only negative was when we got there, the staff said we had to pay $15 extra if we wanted to check in at 3:00. Even though she said our room was ready. We opted to come back later.

Our experience at Sonesta Hotel was terrible. The moment we walked into the room, we were hit with a bad odor, and it was clear that the room had not been cleaned properly. The sofa was so dirty, it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years, and we were disgusted even thinking about sitting on it. To make things worse, my spouse developed a rash as soon as she got into the bed, which made us question the cleanliness even more.
We had booked a two-night stay, but after just an hour, we felt so uncomfortable that we decided to leave. Unfortunately, the hotel refused to offer any compensation and insisted on sticking to their “policy,” so now we are being charged for both nights despite leaving almost immediately. I am still waiting to see if Expedia can help me recover any of the money.
This has been one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room was in poor condition, the service was unhelpful, and the entire hotel feels outdated and overpriced. If you’re considering staying here, I’d strongly advise looking elsewhere.
