Excellent hotel with friendly staff

I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Irapuato several times over the past few years when I visit my relatives. It is a very modern, clean hotel, with a good restaurant for breakfast or lunch. The rooms are very large and comfortable and always very clean, with nothing ever missing (like towels and other supplies). The staff are - without exception - always very polite and friendly. There is shopping within walking distance. I really enjoy staying here and will continue to do so in future visits to Irapuato.

Not so Holiday Inn

This location is definitely not like most Holiday Inns I've stayed at. For the area, the room prices are high and the amenities are terrible. The lobby appears to have been renovated recently but little or no attention was paid to the rooms. If you're travels take you to Irapuato, I'd suggest a different hotel. The only real perk is the secure underground parking.

Not so Holiday Inn

The night I was there a room with drunk people one floor below me were making a lot of noise. I complained to the front desk and they said there was nothing they could do. Management asked if I wanted to change my room. At 1:30 AM, I decided not, but an hour later, I did because they noise from the room got worse. I was being inconvenienced because I was being quiet. I then asked the front desk for a free breakfast coupon as some form of compensation for being inconvenienced. They seemed annoyed by my request. I would not return to this hotel if I ever find myself back in Iraputao. Another reason I would not return is the hotel is expensive for the area and the rooms are very outdated. The first floor was probably renovated recently. I was very disappointed with this hotel.
