We especially appreciated the hot breakfast served in an area large enough to accommodate more guests than were there even at the peak time. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The only negative impression we had was a sign in the room that said, “For your convenience, the maid will only come every other day.” How is that convenient? We were only there two nights, so we had no maid service during our stay— no additional coffee, no emptying the tiny wastebaskets that were quite full by the end. If they are trying to save money by only servicing the rooms every other day, say so. Don’t pretend it’s for our convenience. That will remain a running joke for us for quite some time.

The manager was not at the front desk during prime check out time. I waited several minutes, and then I called the Front Desk number and let it ring many times, but no one answered. I left without checking out and then had to interrupt the Symposium I was in to call to check out before noon. On the call, although I described my frustration, the front desk person did not apologize or in any way express regret that I had been inconvenienced or explain his absence from the Front Desk.

The property is heavily used. For the price, my Room was in very poor condition with large burn holes in the swivel chair and worn out carpet. Frankly not up to Hilton standards in most ways.
A major capital investment is needed.
