I love the Element Hotels and always check to see if there is one when I travel. However, this room was very small. The TV was positioned so you could only see it from the bed. Not the most comfortable spot to sit and watch TV. I had to move the table and desk chair when I ate so I could watch TV. staff were less than helpful when I had a problem with the WiFi. Luckily I figured it out on my own.

Complimentary happy hour was a nice touch! Great breakfast too. Close to everything to walk to dinner.

The price just can’t be beat for a nice, upscale hotel in downtown Iowa City.

Super clean and functional rooms. We were there for the weekend for Hawkeye football and other than getting the hang of the parking situation, it's walkable to all things Iowa City! Staff and breakfast were great too!
