Location, beauty, staff. This is a lovely hotel steeped in history of the area. It has large elegant paintings throughout the hotel. The lobby has elegant, period furniture and is quite large. We always stay at this hotel.

It was a little noisy. My room was by the lobby and elevator. I could hear people above me and outside my room. It wasn’t so bad. I would stay there again.

The hotel is a short walk to the town, but there were coffee shops and a few places to eat very close to the hotel. The only bad thing about the hotel which didn’t bother me too much is that you can hear people outside of the room and above. I was in the first room room by the elevator 1st floor. I would stay there again.

Underwhelming experience
Posted 17 Jul 2024 on HotelsUnfortunately the SPA and Gym were shut and that was one of the main reasons for choosing the hotel. The pool was amazing and a great relief from the heat. There seemed to be some mixup with the reservation and the front desk staff were not helpful especially for a 5 star hotel, they finally addressed the issue and seemed to blame Hotels.com rather than take responsibility. I would not stay there again
