Wow and Excellent. I will be back for sure. Just great. I only stayed here for 1 night but I enjoyed my stay here. It was super friendly, calming and tranquil but very sociable. The people at checkin and checkout we’re great and friendly. The dorms themselves very comfortable. Also the beds have 2 pillows not 1 and this is a bonus. Considering many dorms I stayed have only 1. The views and position of Hostel is remarkable. Just fantastic. The continental breakfast at only £3.50 in the morning was great and prepared me for the day. 10/10!!

This was an excellent hostel. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were beautiful views of Loch Ness. The rooms were clean. Strongly recommend.

lake-side hostel
Posted 9 Jun 2022 on HotelsNice lake-side hostel in a quiet nature area.
The rooms have a lot of beds. I'd appreciate courtesy curtains for privacy.
Each bed has a private light and several plugs for charging items.
There is little furniture in the room which causes a lof of stuff to lay around.
Maybe some small shelves?
Bedsheets are soft and warm.
Parking is on-site.
Wifi works decently well
There is a large common room with large kitchen. Its a good option for large groups.
Thery have basic food items for sale and a paid breakfast. This is nice because there are no stores around.
Showers are shared. Clean.
Staff is very friendly.

Friendly, welcoming with best view of Loch Ness
Posted 1 Sep 2021 on HotelsA great place to stop, broke up our journey from Fort William to Elgin. Staff were really kind and welcoming, breakfast was great value (lots for £3.50). Make sure you bring food with you, as there is no shop for miles.
Definitely have a dip in the lake by the private beach, the 10km loop walk out the back of the hostel is dreamy and worth a wander even if you only get to the waterfall.
The kitchen is a good size and the communal area / dining room has lots of books, games and a pool table that is free to use, along with the BEST view.
