The Black Friar was a great place to stay in Inverness. It was really convenient to the bus station. Close to everything that I wanted to see and walk to. The staff were helpful and accommodating. The room was perfect and had a great shower! Would stay again.

Coziest little bed and breakfast, the owners were so kind and accommodating. The rooms were like a little dream so comfy and warm . Definitely my fav place I’ve ever stayed in Scotland. Their pub food is the best ever Please try their broccoli soup and their sticky toffee pudding. It was the warmest coziest stay. Definitely recommend!

The room was a little warm but the location, staff and room made up for any slight inconvenience.

Jessica was the server that checked us in when we arrived and our server for the Sunday roast. She is just the best! On a busy night she was stuck with very low staff and was killing it! Very sweet and gave us great tips on how to get the right buses to areas outside of Inverness. The room was beautiful and such a great experience. I would stay there every time I visit Inverness and recommend it to everyone. Plus, the food is fantastic! I want the recipe to the sticky toffee pudding!

We had a wonderful stay. First night after 15 hours of travel. It was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the curtains blocked out all sunlight. We slept for 12 hours!

Loved this spot! We spent a week in Scotland and stayed at 5 different hotels. This was by far my favorite. The room was super clean and the bathroom was nice and spacious. We had dinner in the pub and the food was delicious. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
