Cute little property and overall good experience. It was clean but you can't wear your shoes in the room at the request of the owner/operator. Very walkable and easy parking. Great experience.
Lovely experience with our stay here. Very affordable, with a polite host and a very cozy little room in a beautiful area! Don't hesitate to say here if you are thinking of a trip to Inverness.
Paulo is an excellent host offering sincere professional service in a well appointed setting: a beautiful home that wonderfully represents an era circa 1900 the year it was built. Each day of my stay there my room was refreshed and presented with delicious baked treats, scones & tarts. Indeed a high point on my vacation in Scotland
Charming historic home with wonderful host. Very close to the city. Very warm bed.

Stayed at Juniper Lodge for 2 nights. Short walk in to town, lots of restaurants and stores. Check-in with Paulo was easy and quick, would have been nice to have his phone number or e-mail to communicate pre check-in. Nice touch that he provided a welcome drink and home-made pasties on day 1, and a wee dram of whiskey and bisquits on day 2. Would stay here again.
First of all, the house is gorgeous. Next, Paulo welcomed us personally and had tarts and tea set up for us as we arrived. The room was comfortable and spacious. The property was in easy walking distance from town center, shopping, bus and train. Paulo was a most considerate and helpful host.

Strange check in. Internet very poor to non existent. No staff. Basically an old house.
Great place to stay in Inverness! Greeted by the host upon arrival and felt very welcome! The accommodations were just as described. The location was perfect for a stay in Inverness - walking distance to so many things. Would highly recommend this property!
Fabulous experience. Everything I dreamed of and more as I didn’t want to stay at a hotel. The host was awesome. So happy I picked this stay for myself.
This is a home with just three or so guest rooms. The house is beautiful and elegant. My room was spare in its furnishings, but very comfortable. The en suite bathroom was sleek and modern. I drove downtown, but you could walk to it if you prefer. Having parking on site is very convenient.
This was an exquisite property with a congenial and charming proprietor. Paolo had seen to every detail to make our stay delightful. We enjoyed our beautifully appointed room and all the extra touches, like home-baked pastry! This accomodation is very walkable to sights, shopping, and restaurants and Paolo gave us excellent directions and recommendations which we enjoyed. We would go back to Juiper Lodge in a heartbeat.
We loved our stay. The personal touches by Palio were so appreciated. Easy walking distance to city centre. Highly recommend.

Juniper Lodge was delightful. The room overlooked the garden and views of the special neighborhood. The location is convenient for a 15 minute walk to the train station and city shops. The tasty homemade treats each day were a highlight!
The Juniper Lodge functions in a beautiful old house, located in a quiet yet close to downtown neighborhood, also Paolo is a wonderful host that was helpful and welcoming!

The host was very helpful and brought wonderful treats each day. The building is lovely.
Beautiful old house, very quiet, nice furnishings. Stayed in a single room with bath down the hall. It worked out very well. Near the bus line. Convenient place to stay my night before flying out of EDI. Very helpful home owner with information how to get around, booked my taxi. Recommend and would stay here again.
I can only add my praises to the mountain of praise left by others. Juniper Lodge is a wonderful place to stay; it is near enough the to the city centre to walk but far enough out to offer peace and tranquility. The house itself exudes a sense of quiet and calm. My single room was spotlessly clean, with everything I could possibly need thoughtfully provided, including the delicious home made treats others have mentioned. The private bathroom a few steps down the hall was far more spacious than any en-suite, with a shower that wouldn’t be out of place in a spa.
Paolo, the host and owner, was welcoming and friendly. I hope I will have the opportunity to stay here again and would definitely recommend it to solo travellers.
