I'm confused as to how this hotel was listed as 4-star but I had to do registration myself. The registration was not difficult and similar to a motel off the highway.

As we are confused as to how we should not be listed as a 4-star hotel (the star rating is done by the Swiss Hotel Association - not by us), we would like to inform you that it is standard in Switzerland (and I think in most other countries as well) that you fill in the registration form yourself when you check in. This is mandatory and a government obligation. At the Hotel Interlaken you also have the option of registering online in advance. Very convenient to both train stations i.e. zinterlaken Ost and West.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Traveled with my wife and two kids. The room we stayed in was the family room and was very spacious and modern. I highly recommend this hotel for families traveling to Interlaken.

Definitely Recommend- In-Room Cooling!

As a couple Americans traveling in August, we very much appreciated the in-room AC (it wasn't as powerful as we're used to in the States, but it was the best cooling we had in multiple hotels across Europe this trip). Beds were comfortable, employees were friendly, breakfast was good. Walkable from the bahn (train) and town. Would definitely recommend.
