Beautiful countryside. Best host and hostess. Comfortable beds and en suite. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. After dinner history of the Leslie Castle was very interesting.

The Leslie Castle is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are so quaint and comfortable. I feel very fortunate we were able to stay here. Highly recommended. Thank you to our hosts for making it a wonderful stay.

This castle was lovingly remodeled in the 1980s to be as historic as possible yet with modern features (bathrooms, electricity). It’s the real experience and Nicola, the current owner, takes great pride in its history! She also serves a wonderful breakfast in the old kitchen castle. Definitely a lovely experience. Our room was huge and bed was comfortable. You are also surrounded by Leslie history if that clan is your family history roots.

Once in a lifetime stay!
Posted 16 Jun 2024 on HotelsNicola and her husband were a delight to stay with at Leslie Castle (the name “Leslie” has special meaning to me). My mom and I definitely wanted to stay in a castle on our trip and this was a good use of our time and money. The tour and historical talk by Nicola were really helpful and interesting and the food was excellent. There’s not much around, so definitely opt for the dinner on-site. Please book directly with Leslie Castle if you can, also, and avoid these third parties.
