Very hot, no air con, shared bathroom and separate shared bathroom, at this price needs to be en suite

two nights in Innertkirchen

On the first night I hardly slept all night. The sheets on the beds are quite rough. That kept me up almost all night.

No bathroom or toilet in the room is inexcusable. The staff barely spoke any English. Every floorboard squeaked.

When you have reserved the room you will also see that the rooms have a shared shower/toilet.We are in Switzerland and do not speak perfect English, but we try hard and always look after our guests well. If you don't like creaky floorboards, go to a 5 star hotel.Kind regardsHotel AlpinaJürg Wüthrich

Description had twin bed, in practice it was a single bed. Men's shared bathroom lock was broken. No soap in shared shower. You can hear every single thing the people in rooms next to you are doing. Breakfast was OK. Parking is convenient.

Travel in Time

If you're curious about what a basic hotel was like a century ago, this is the place. It has all the charm: squeaky and shaky floors and doors, one toilet and one shower at the end of the corridor for all occupants, no soap dispenser in the shower, stained bed sheets. If not, look elsewhere.
