The Hotel is fairly new, the rooms are well designed and the bathroom is just how it should be. Everything was clean and the smell was neutral, which is good. A really good room to get to, after a long day. The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. They were nice to talk to. There are only 2 things that i would "complain" about: 1. The bed sheet was a bit too rough, so I had to get used to it. A softer cotton sheet would do the trick. 2. The light in the bathroom is a bit too weak. At first I thought it was dimmed, but I could only find the normal switch. For normal use it is ok, but if you want to shave, it is quite hard to see anything. But maybe it was just my room. All in all, I am happy I stayed in this hotel.

Room not cleaned on arrival (had to get another room), not cleaned on last day of stay (needed to go get towels from reception), doubt rooms are hoovered as carpet was filthy, all soaps empty in the bathroom (had to ask for a refill), huge spiders in the lobby. I've used this hotel for a few years and it's been more than adequate but somethings happened with staff/management perhaps as its not the service I would expect. Will give enso a miss now, shame.

Disappointed

I have stayed at the Enso on many occasions and I have had no issues, hence why we have continued to use this hotel for business trips. However, on this occasion (3 nights for 5 people), my room had clearly not been cleaned properly. The room stank of stale urine and I found a discarded bra lying at the side of a chair in the room, not behind or underneath, but just lying at the side of the chair. While on this trip, I injured my foot and asked at the hotel bar if I could have some ice to help reduce the swelling, I was given 2 cubes of ice. The following night I asked again and was given 1 ice cube. The third night the barman point blank refused to give me any ice whatsoever. The same barman then refused to serve drinks to my colleagues as the bar was closing in 20 minutes, after a bit of an exchange, the barman then served drinks, but put them in the hotel lobby/reception. He then proceeded to serve others who came into the bar after my colleagues had moved to the reception area. The Enso was a default hotel that we use for business, but I will not be using it again in the future.
