"Although the property is fairly old, and not that attractive to look at from the outside, the room and bed and towels were all very clean! Unfortunately there was no cream or sugar packets in the room for an early morning coffee, so we had to wait until office opened and they were able to provide us with some "loose" creamer from a big container and some packets of sugar."

"The room was basic but perfect for a weekend getaway. Very quiet location and walking distance to shops in the downtown area plus bait shops right across the road. They are pet friendly and located across from a dog friendly park which provides waste bins and bags to clean up after your dog. Not the first time staying here but will be back! "The cottage was lovely and cozy. Technically, within walking distance to the beach, but if you want to take stuff with you, you’d want to drive. It is a little rundown, but very clean. They rent golf carts on site. We didn’t take advantage of that, but will keep it in mind. My only complaint is the bed, and I realize that is subjective. "The only complaint I can think of was having to ask for extra towels. The staff was excellent. The breakfast was also great! Very nice and friendly staff. Would recommend to others and would definitely stay again. "

"When I reserved the room it didn't give me an option for Downstairs, since my wife is Disabled. So they told me we have downstairs but it will be 25.00 dollars more. I've stayed there before, so I thought they would give me the room for the same price. That's the only thing I disliked."

Nice Hotel With Lots of Restaurants Near By.

"The Lady at the check-in was very nice and professional. The hotel appears to be fairly new and looks to be very well maintained. Our room was nice. The bathroom was clean. The AC worked fine. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very quiet. I usually bring a fan to give a little white noise but I forgot it this trip. There were plenty of outlets and USB ports. The location seems safe. The parking lot was well lit. There were several restaurants within walking distance. There are several more just two minutes away by car. There’s an HEB grocery store the next block over. The only weak spot was the breakfast. It was ok, but a little more variety with the hot items wouldn’t hurt. Overall my Wife and I enjoyed our stay and we plan on staying again the next time we’re in Corpus Christi. "
