A beautiful property with stunning coastal views, wonderful and helpful staff, and good food and facilities. Loved the pool and the proximity to the beach.

Staff members not wearing gloves or masks,food is not clean kitchen staff member is very dirty and unhygienic.not worth the price for food charges,refused to buy food from outside but hotel staff buy food and cigarette from outside for extra cash.can stay for couple of days for the because of the beach and the view.poor hotel management.highly not recommended.

Thank you for the review. Staff members do not wear gloves but do wear masks. They can't see the kitchen staff. They don’t come out. Guests and staff (without kitchen staff) are not allowed in the kitchen. But I am wondering that. Thank you

Big shout out for the Bed Manager

We have stayed at this hotel previously. Bed manager excellent because originally we were placed on the second floor room (there is no lift so lots of stairs). My husband has a bad back and finds the stairs difficult. We were subsequently moved to the ground floor room the next morning. Excellent result. Also receptionist very friendly, all the best to her with the birth of her first child.

This is a really good hotel, on the beach, great staff and a wonderful menu/food. Not much to complain about at all, maybe just the limited wifi which is only available in the lobby and indoor restaurant .

Very disappointing stay

The hotel facilities are not bad, but it feels like they need an update. The location and the room was good but our experience was tarnished by the terrible service from the staff. it didn’t feel there was someone in charge and every employee seemed to dislike their job and didn’t do anything to make us feel welcome or comfortable even though it was low season, and the hotel was completely empty. We only had a good experience with the guy in charge of the sunbeds on the beach who was kind and helpful when we were there. The hotel advertises WiFi but they only have this available in the lobby and it wasn’t even working the day we arrived, the ladies at the front desk were clueless about anything to recommend in the area so we ventured to find restaurants and other places ourselves, we realised other hotels in the area have a much better offer for a similar price. It’s a shame we had this hotel as the last as we loved all the people in Sri Lanka and the places we stayed at; we even asked if we stay until 3pm before leaving on the last day as we had a very late flight but our request was denied for no other reason than hotel policy (there was no one else in the hotel and they didn’t expect anyone either).

Dear Sir/Madam, First we would like to thank you to wrote to us. Don't misunderstand. All the staff doing their job with satisfaction. And about the wi fi, we think you hope the situation. That day and day before yesterday was not good weather this area. That's why no signal foe use internet. But we gave you another router to use wi fi. The next day morning when wi fi okay reception informed you you ,"now you can use wi fi". And the other thing is, our check out time is 12. You asked late check out until 3PM. But this is the hotel and we have policies. However we gave you to stay until 2PM without any charges. So we don't know why did you wrote like this... Anyway, Thanks for staying with us at Oasey. We look forward to see you once again. Take care until we meet next time. Thanks,

Avoid like the plague

Rooms smell like urinals. Towels are dirty. Front desk staff are rude and untruthful. Food is terrible.

Great stay !

We stayed here for 5 days as part of our Honeymoon, the rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was good. Very close to lots of tourists attractions. We would love to bring our family back to Oasey !
