The hotel itself was great - my room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly & helpful. The area surrounding the hotel, however, was really unsafe. My Uber driver warned me that I should stay in the hotel and not wander the area, especially at night because there's a lot of gun violence in that area. I'm glad he warned me because sure enough, I could hear gunshots on Saturday night... Outside of the hotel is well lit and I felt safe in my room but it was still jarring to hear this! The hotel is about 15 minute drive from downtown Indy. Good option to save money since hotels there were very pricey. I would recommend staying here just be aware of your safety!

Very nice customer service at the front desk, very accommodating to us, our 1 year old, and service animal. Morning breakfast was AMAZING! Best we’ve had while traveling anywhere. Real eggs, sausage, English muffins, toast, French toast, waffles, yogurts, muffins, coffee, orange juice, apple juice, napkins, plastic ware, and even to-go grab bags for easy packing up and heading out the door.

Pleasant and comfortable.
Something of a challenge to get here due to traffic, but quick check in and very nice room. Renovation efforts were obvious from elevator, but did not affect our stay.

Everyone we encountered at this property was super-friendly and accommodating, the breakfasts were cooked well and the rooms were very clean. The hotel is currently updating and that is necessary, which is the ONLY reason for the 4-star, once upgrades are complete I'm quite certain they will be back to a full five stars.
