"We really wanted to like this place as it's a nice building and scenic location although far from the center of town, however, their service and attitude left much to be desired. From the manager to the staff, the service is superficial as they don't address concerns timely and they'll shake their head or indicate it's no problem and then do absolutely nothing about it. "This was a great place to stay in the town of Inle Lake. Right next to the jetty where the boats depart from. The boats start about 6:00 a.m. and finish about 10:00 p.m. They are noisy but it didn’t bother us too much. Friendly staff and very obliging.The hotel organised a 6 hr boat trip for us so we didn’t have to navigate the sellers next to the jetty ($18 for 3 people for the day)."

"This hotel was great and the staff were outstanding. When I arrived I asked about a trip out on the Inle Lake. By the time I got back from the atm which is only across the road they had a guide there ready to take me. That is great service. I was on the water enjoying my day with twenty minutes of arriving."

"Nice place to stay. The room was a bit basic. Great garden to hang out. Staff very helpful and friendly. Family like atmosphere. Good location."

"I liked the friendly staff, especially since we had to do ankate check in, very accommodating. However.. we asked to switch our bungalow room, due to a foul sewer-like smell emanating from the shower area, and we were told quickly and not politely (by the owner, not the staff) that it was not possible because there are many guests that come and go. Reluctantly, we were given a different room, which was clean. "

"What a treat to stay here after a two day trek from Kalaw to Inle Lake. The hotel is on the outskirts of the main part of town but it was truly a mini oasis once you entered the grounds. The staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating. This was one of the few places in Myanmar that had a set breakfast instead of a buffet but this was one of the most beautiful breakfast setups during my travels! I can't recommend this hotel enough. If you come to Nyaungshwe, do yourself a favor...

"Being on the water is both good and bad. Good for the view. Bad that you are stuck out there at night."

"Good property, quite new, but they need to put night blinds/shades as in the night light seeps in through the curtains and can interrupt sleep. Other than that it's a good property, nice service and no other issues."

"Hotel was nice. Made to order breakfast was good (but ends at 9:30 am). Apparently the double bed rooms are just 2 twin beds pushed together. When we tried to explain that we had booked a double bed, they just shoved the beds together and told us that all the rooms were like that. Never found out if that was true. Shower had hot water, although it was difficult to get it an appropriate temperature, as you had to jiggle the knob between freezing cold and scolding hot. Location was fine, walking...
