Wen i saw the Astoria in this make of this hotel, Waldorf Astoria came to mind, this place is anything but. This property is not a 4 start hotel. There were many issues with hotel but the one that asked me the most is that i had to reconnect to the wifi everytime i returned to the room, very annoying and inconvenient

Garbage..
The rooms are not as advertised and they’d lie to your face about the room you selected online.

Amazing, quiet, friendly, I could go on and on!

This hotel was our home away from home. Everyone in the staff made us feel like we were family. When we would leave, someone was always at the door to greet us when we got back. You usually don't get that kind of attention from staff. Food was delish! My first taste of Nigeria, and they did not disappoint.
There is a supermarket right next to the hotel, which made it super easy to stock up on snacks and water, whatever really.
The room was very comfortable, quiet, and safe. We walked around the neighborhood almost daily, which made me love Nigeria more. My partner was able to show me some of his amazing culture without all the chaos of somewhere like the Continental.
We stayed at three different hotels while I was in Nigeria, and Parkview Astoria was by far the best! I would recommend this hotel if you want to get a taste of culture without the fear of the busy streets.
