"Excellent apartment, had everything we needed and more. Very spacious, big comfy bed, large bathroom. Close to the old town and handy bus stop if you're coming from the airport by bus. Easy check in and good communication from the host. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again"

"This was a very comfortable and large apartment with two rooms and a kitchen/bath. There was a washer and dryer which we did not use but were happy to see. There is a shower and a tub! The beds were extremely comfortable - nice and firm mattresses and everything was very clean. The owner was very friendly and happy to help with details. "Die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet, das Bett und die Kissen waren bequem, und die Lage war ausgezeichnet. Besonders schätzte ich die Möglichkeit, das Auto im Innenhof zu parken. "Nice area, walking to downtown, big rooms, with decent kitchen, no TV, shower very tight you can pass from hot to cold water just by moving accidentally with your elbow. There is a bad odor coming from the water pipes in all the building (old installations)."

"Well located, spacious and functional apartment with good cable channels, Wi-Fi, kitchen and washing machine. The apartment is quite hot in summer and there is no ventilation in the bedroom. There is a mobile air-con unit but it leaks water onto the floor. Also, the low quality bed sheets did not fit the mattress and they became uncomfortable every night when they came loose. It is a shame that they didn't simply have proper sheets, and they should provide a top sheet."

"Nice place in a good location, very friendly service. Big enough for a family of four, accommodates in the extreme case even 8 people. The negative sides: (i) extremely noisy, because right downstairs is a popular pub. Hence not recommended for a family stay; (ii) the beds were very uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep. Also night tables and reading lamps would be nice."

"Overall good. All SPA services are chargeable, Good location. I left my earbuds in the room which were found. The hotel will not send them to me by tracked post ( at my cost) as their policy is for me to arrange a courier pick up for delivery to the UK which is not cost effective- very disappointed that they cannot be more helpful. "

"Being in a convenient location right on a route of public transpot from Riga city center to the Airport makes it ideal place to rest before or after your flight. However the walls are quite thin and TV playing in the neighbouring room did not help to get a proper rest. The hotel offered well equiped complimentary breakfast, wich was a good surprise, as it was not mentioned on the booking. There are no swimming pool, but there is a spa, but visits must be booked in advance."

"Great hotel with good staff. This hotel is conveniently located at the edge of the Old Town. They have a parking garage at the building, which makes it easy to park. However, they are not able to reserve parking. The breakfast was excellent and room clean and decent size. Overall, a very pleasant stay."

"We had a fantastic stay in Grand Poet Hotel. We booked the Deluxe room and we were given room 419, which had a fantastic view over the park and Riga old town. There was plenty of room for 3 people including our son. Room was tastefully decorated and super clean. We utilized the valet parking which was really convenient. Charge was 30 Euros per night. Hotel was walking distance from everything, including all the nice restaurants in the old town. SPA was nice, but a bit overcrowded at all times. Highly recommended."
